This page will host resources that I have found useful. I am convinced that if you want to really learn something not only must you invest MONEY but TIME in learning how to do it.
I have, over the years, committed myself to both areas. I only have this blog today because of our investment in a learning experience with Dr. Jeanette Cates in a course called Online Success Basics.
This course was 6 weeks full of online classes, videos, and homework! We learned so much about internet marketing and behind the scenes stuff every artist on the internet should learn.
When I first started the course and realized that the web presence we were going to have was by way of a wordpress blog I thought, “well how will that be as good as a regular website?” Well I was surprised. Dr. Cates explained the difference plus she showed us using the webinar technology.
We learned how to choose a domain name plus the really powerful keyword search tools. I guess my biggest excitement is that you are not left hanging on your own because she still allows you to ask questions beyond the time of the class series and she keeps the videos available for your review.
So do check Dr. Jeanette Cates out today if you want to learn from someone who is an educator as well as technology expert!

Just imagine wanting to review how to do something in Photoshop. If you are a visual person like me you will enjoy being able to go directly to the topic I have a question about and view an online video.
I have included some of those videos on this blog on the left side.
Sign up for VTC.com when you you want to learn a software package at your on pace. Yes, you can order the cd tutorals to play on your computer. But I found a greater savings investing in the year long subscription.
